Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Fire Extinguisher

เครื่องดับเพลิงประเภทนี้จะบรรจุก๊าซคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ ที่เมื่อฉีดออกมาแล้วจะมีลักษณะเป็นไอเย็นจัดของน้ำแข็งแห้ง (Dry Ice) ปกคลุมบริเวณที่เกิดเพลิงลุกไหม้ ช่วยให้ลดความร้อนและดับเพลิงได้อย่างรวดเร็ว รวมถึงไม่ทิ้งคราบสกปรกหลังการฉีดทำให้ไม่เกิดความเสียหายต่อสิ่งของและอุปกรณ์ไฟฟ้าต่างๆ เหมาะสำหรับติดตั้ง : อาคารสำนักงาน ห้องคอนโทรลไฟฟ้า โรงงานอุตสาหกรรม ข้อควรระวัง : ควรวางไว้ในที่ร่ม ที่มีอุณหภูมิไม่สูงมาก และปราศจากแสงแดดส่องถึง หรือใกล้เตาไฟ Carbon dioxide fire extinguishers store carbon dioxide inside. This type of extinguisher suits for extinguishing class A fires, cooling the heat down from solid fuels such as wood, fabric, and paper. Location : warehouses or spaces filled with heavy combustibles where there is high possibility of class A fires. Caution : Usable for class A fires only. Do not use with class B fires as the fire situations may be worsened nor with class C fires since water is electrically conductive.

เครื่องดับเพลิงประเภทนี้บรรจุน้ำผสมโฟมเข้มข้น (AFFF หรือ AR-AFFF) และก๊าซไนโตรเจนเป็นสารขับดัน เมื่อฉีดออกมาจะเป็นน้ำยาฟองโฟมสีขาวปลุกคลุมผิวหน้าของวัสดุเชื้อเพลิง สามารถลดความร้อน และลดอากาศที่จะเข้ามาทำปฏิกิริยาลูกโซ่ จึงไม่สามารถเกิดเพลิงไหม้ต่อไปได้ เหมาะสำหรับติดตั้ง : สถานที่ที่มีการเก็บเชื้อเพลิงจำพวกของเหลวต่างๆ ข้อควรระวัง : ห้ามนำเครื่องดับเพลิงชนิดโฟมไปดับประเภท C อันได้แก่ วัตถุเชื้อเพลิงที่เกิดจากกระแสไฟฟ้า เช่น กรณีการเกิดไฟฟ้าลัดวงจร เนื่องจากน้ำยาโฟมมีน้ำเป็นส่วนประสม ซึ่งน้ำเป็นสื่อในการนำไฟฟ้า Foam fire extinguishers contain AFFF or AR-AFFF which is condensed foam, propelled by nitrogen gas. After the activation, the foam will be sprayed to cover the surfaces of fire fuel materials. The foam effectively drops the fire heat and the concentration of air which is a reactant of the chain reaction. Location : spaces filled with fuel liquids Caution : Do not use with class C fires since the foam contains electrically conductive liquid.

Caution : Usable for class D fires only.
